On March 1st 2013, teams from around the globe met for 48 hours as part of a global Service Jam to develop new services inspired by the theme of "GROW^". Teams published their services on Sunday at 3pm and reported crazy collaboration, creative people, learning, and fun. Over 120 Jams were held with around 3000 participants developing over 520 finalized projects. The document discusses the Jam process and principles of having fun, prototyping ideas quickly, and getting feedback from users. It thanks the jammers and sponsors for making the event a success and notes another global GovJam event will be held in Tampere from June 4-6.

On 1 March 2013, people interested in service and using a
design-based approaches to problem solving and creativity
met all over the globe in a spirit of experimentation, co-
operation and friendly competition.
Teams had 48 hours to develop brand new services inspired
by a shared theme. On Sunday at 3pm, they published them
