Estanc AS has been engaged in the production of pressure equipment since
1992. Since the inception of Estanc AS I have been able to work in various
capacities and make a contribution to the company’s development.
In just over two decades Estanc AS has evolved into the leading regional
manufacturer of tanks and pressure equipment. Our team comprises the best
specialists and we are currently employing 150 people. Many of them have
held different positions at the company for over a decade and are now part of
the management structure.
The main processes of Estanc AS are based on project-centred production. We
deal with all of our customers’ needs, from the initial concept to installation of
completed products.
The goal of Estanc AS for the next few years is to offer our customers an
even wider range of products. In the recent years we have been investing in
new production facilities and modern machinery for manufacturing heavy
and sophisticated products. We are increasingly introducing new materials to
comply with the latest market priorities.
Our customers value us as professional and reliable partners. We have many
customers across Scandinavia and in many countries in Central Europe. We

We are testing our products according to standards. For NDT tests we are using our
professional partners Inspecta, Dekra etc. We provide various tests of parent metal and
welds of pressure equipment, boilers, pipes etc.

We are able to do pressure tests for products over 300 bars (g).
• Transport & Installation
Transporting and installing the products at the customers’s site
Estanc provides transporting and installation of the products at customer’s site in
cooperation with our long-term and professional partners.

Varnsdorf WHN13MC type 2 boring machine equipped with two
replaceable tilting tables.

Over the years we have refined our operating processes and quality systems that
comply with EN ISO 9001:2008 and EN ISO 3834-2:2005 standards. Our quality
assurance covers the entire production chain, from design to the final testing of
ready-made products.
Our uncompromising production quality and quality assurance systems are based
on close cooperation with several inspection and quality control authorities. These
include Dekra, Inspecta, TÜV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s, and several other national
inspection institutions and authorities within and outside Europe.
In the EU area we follow the Pressure Equipment Directive
(PED 97/23 EU and PED 2014/68EU). We use harmonised EN standards:

Competencies
Our team is composed of qualified specialists and consultants with
long experience. We have two International Welding Engineers in our
team. 40 welders and operators are certified according to EN287,
EN1418 and ASME standards. Our engineering team ensures that
all the degins will be according to applicable standards and sound
engineering practice.

Materials
In addition to efficiency, energy production requires extreme reliability.
This means that all materials used in the manufacture of power plant
equipment must be selected individually, in accordance with each
installation’s special requirements. Nevertheless, material section is
not enough - the manufacturing processes and particularly the welding
methods, in compliance with the process-specific special conditions
must also be at the master level.
Due to the great variety of power plant equipment requirements, we
use a wide selection of raw materials, covering all the requirements
imposed by power plant processes.

materials and process requirements.
