The 2017 GO! St. Louis Marathon & Family Fitness Week-
end in Downtown St. Louis (Sat. April 8 and Sun. April 9) — A
signature event that attracts over 25,000 participants in 11 races and fea-
tures races for people of all ages and fitness abilities. Includes marathon, half marathon, mara-
thon relay, 7K, 5K run/walk, the GO! St. Louis Read, Right & Run Marathon, children’s fun runs
and a mature mile, as well as a St. Louis-themed finish line food, top quality race shirts, great-looking finisher med-
als and a post-race party with a local band. Marathon Weekend has become a national model for other running or-
ganizations and communities, looking to inspire residents to make community wellness a priority. To register and for

Breakfast with Bunny at the St. Louis Zoo (Sat. Apr. 8; 8:30 am, 10:30 am & 12:30 pm) — Hop into
Spring and bring your family to enjoy breakfast with the bunny at the zoo’s McDonnell Center at River Camp. Meet
costumed characters and pose for a photo with the bunny. Includes a gift for children and free parking for parents!

Spring Into Your Park at the Gateway Arch Riverfront (Sat. Apr. 8, 11 am-4 pm) — This fun event is for
St. Louisans and visitors alike to enjoy the reimagined landscape at the Gateway Arch. Dignitaries and CityArchRiver
project leaders will officially commemorate the opening of the park, and everyone is invited to learn about the
transformation through the Discovery Map Challenge, a scavenger hunt featuring special memorabilia and the
chance to win prizes. There will also be live music, Laclede’s Landing food & drink, kids’ activities, lawn games, and

Springtime Village at Purina Farms in Gray Summit (Fri. Apr. 7-Sun. Apr. 9; 9:30 am-3:30 pm) —
Celebrate Spring and all the wonders that come with it! See piglets, chicks and rabbits; photos with Peter Cottontail,

“First Fridays” at the St. Louis Science Center—Anime Invasion (Fri. Apr. 7; see website for schedule)
— First Friday activities such as presentations, sci-fi trivia and the 10 pm sci-fi film are primarily designed for adults and recom-
mended for audiences 16 years and older. The public telescope viewings and free 7 pm Planetarium show are recommended for
