The 22nd Annual Big Muddy Blues Festival on Laclede’s Landing

tival returns this Labor Day weekend to celebrate St. Louis Blues music. Featuring
3 indoor and 3 outdoor stages, 50 musicians and 18 hours of music! Free Friday

100th Annual St. Louis Greek Fair Festival in the Central West End
(Fri. Sept. 1, kick-off event at 11 am at Athens On the Street Forest Park Avenue;
Sat. Sept. 2 & Sun. Sept 3, 11 am-9 pm; Mon. Sept. 4, 11 am-8 pm) — Gyros,
moussaka, spanakopita, baklava … there’s no better way to spend Labor Day
weekend this side of Mykonos than at the 100th Annual St. Louis Greek Festival at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox
Church in the CWE! Voted best local festival by St. Louis Magazine, the Greek Festival features live entertain-

The UniverSoul Circus Downtown St. Louis (Through Mon. Sept. 4) — The circus is coming to town! The
UniverSoul Circus will guide audiences through a non-stop journey filled with some of the most thrilling and

Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden (Sept. 2—4; Sat. & Sun., 10 am-8 pm; Mon. 10 am
-5 pm. Note: Grounds open at 9 am Sat/Sun and close at 10 pm for candle walks) — Celebrating the history, cul-
ture, and people of Japan, the Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Garden is one of the largest and oldest
festivals of its kind in the United States. Since 1977, the Missouri Botanical Garden has produced the annual Jap-
anese Festival in conjunction with the Japanese Activities Committee, a coalition of several Japanese-American
organizations that provide art, dance, food and entertainment for thousands of visitors each year. To purchase

Jungle Boogie Nights at the Saint Louis Zoo (Fri. Sept. 1, 5-8 pm) — It’s the final concert of the season

First Fridays at the St. Louis Science Center—”DC vs. Marvel” (Fri. Sept. 1; check website for
schedule/times) — First Friday activities such as presentations, sci-fi trivia and 10 pm sci-fi film are recommend-
ed for audiences 16 years and older. The public telescope viewings and free 7 pm planetarium show are recom-
mended for all ages. The theme for this week’s First Friday is “DC vs. Marvel.” Free parking and many free activ-

Greater St. Louis Art Association (GSLAA) presents the 2017 Art Fair at Queeny Park, held at the indoor, climate-
controlled Greensfelder Recreation Center in Queeny Park on Weidman Road. Featuring up to 135 juried artists,
wine tasting, children’s activities, café with food and drinks, and more. Admission $5 valid for all 3 days, with
