Major Achievements:
Achieved award for ‘Outstanding Contribution to Telstra Operations Business Strategy 2005-2010’.
Create Business Priority analysis methodology for all Projects in Telstra Operations.
Development of Project Health Templates for the Project Managers to fill out each week
Mentoring PM’s and Business Specialists who were managing Projects.
I developed a Project Schedule/Plan Template for Telstra Business Transformation Projects, so as
all the Project Managers etc. could utilize a similar framework whereby reporting and governance
could be derived from.
I developed a Communication Plan Template so as the PM’s could utilize for their Projects. These
were then reviewed by me to ensure that all the Stakeholders and Executive were ‘covered off’.
Development of a Telstra Business Transformation Decommissioning (Applications) report.
Scoping of a Change Request/Project Database, so as flexible queries and reporting were available
for Executive Management and Stakeholders.
Developed an ‘Out of Plan Change Request’ Process and Document describing how the ‘out-of-
scope’ Transformation Change Requests are handled and the procedure by which a Project Manager
should follow to complete the said Change Request.
I provided assistance to Project Managers via weekly formal governance meetings
Managed the Cramer/TrueSource Inventory Project and delivered it on time and within budget.
Developed the RFT response for the Whole of Vic Government Transition Framework for Mobiles
and Data.
Developed Project Plan Templates (Work Package Plans) for the Project Managers (for RFT
response).
Developed Prince 2 Templates for the Project Managers to use (for RFT response).
Managed this CT of the Future Cloud Project and delivered it on time and within budget
Developed Governance documents and kept all Stakeholders informed of progress
Developed marketing material to distribute internally within Telstra to show the success of the first
major Transformation Project.
This initiative examined Field work practices. It delivered a 5% increase in the overall work rate
through streamlining of processes, the upgrading of tools and ITSM processes.
