SAP Organizational Visualization presents
your complete organizational structure
through a highly interactive organizational
chart interface. Everyone in your workforce
can navigate through this structure to better
understand and communicate organizational,
employee, and enterprise information.
Managers can use the software to help make
decisions about resources, provide a frame-
work for managing change, and communicate
operational information. Managers can also
access advanced information such as head-
counts or demographic metrics to track
compliance with staffing regulations.
The software supports configurable views
that let employees see organizational roles
and employee profiles in a variety of ways –
by department, cost center, manager, or
country. Employees gain a clearer view of the
organization and can also quickly navigate
the organizational chart to understand cur-
rent organizational capabilities and needs
better or to team up with other employees
to collaborate on work.
From an IT perspective, deployment costs and
effort are minimal due to the Web-based inter-
face.A rich administrative console simplifies
software customization.The software is pre-
configured in 18 languages, including Chinese,
Japanese, and Korean, as well as right-to-left
languages like Hebrew and Arabic, to support
businesses that require this localization.

HR professionals must navigate organizational
data that is constantly changing.With SAP
Organizational Visualization, any changes
made to the underlying HCM data are instantly
reflected in the software. Likewise, HR can
create, delete, clone, or move positions and
update a wide range of data, including busi-
ness unit and employee assignments within
the organizational chart interface.
This interface also helps people to connect in
powerful ways. Employees can import infor-
mation from LinkedIn and publish professional
profiles within the company, highlighting skills
that align with organizational needs.The pro-
files can include detailed information about
education, as well as list certifications, awards,
and professional memberships. Employees
can quickly connect with peers to establish
professional interest groups or create multi-
disciplinary teams.
The software features public and private
comments and notes, hot keys, and enhanced
zooming features, as well as printing and
exporting options. There is also advanced
search functionality to encourage collabora-

SAP Organizational Visualization takes the
complexity out of your planning processes.
Dynamically model what-if scenarios based on
current SAP ERP HCM data to safely test new
departments or project teams and even model
a comprehensive business transformation.
Using SAP Organizational Visualization, you
can analyze the effect of changes immediately
by using real-time analytics to benchmark
against key performance indicators (KPIs)
such as budgets, salary totals, and head-
counts.You can also synchronize and merge
changes from live organizational chart data
into the model, share annotated scenarios
with colleagues for review and approval, and
automatically write back approved changes to
SAP ERP HCM.
The wizard-guided write-back process mini-
mizes disruption to business operations and
enforces a step-by-step approach for change
management while helping ensure optimal
transparency and alignment. The software
accounts for every change to the organiza-
tional chart and saves those changes in a
log. This log can be validated by your change
management team and then used for produc-
tion deployment when approved.

your SAP ERP HCM data current and accurate.
The software features a data quality console
interface to detect errors such as missing
data, business-rule noncompliance, data
conflicts, and more.
The interface automatically checks incon-
sistencies in the HCM data by applying
predefined, configurable rules. These rules
validate core HCM data in areas such as
organizational management, personnel
administration, headcount, and vacancies.
The intuitive interface lets you drill down to
see more information about reported incon-
sistencies, view the affected data records,
and even view guided actions for resolution.
The software also provides key metrics for
an overall global perspective of the health of
your SAP ERP HCM data.
The strong, role-based security you’ve come
to expect from SAP software is an integral
