2. NARRATIVE OF BUILDINGTABLE OF CONTENTS
The Peak Office is a low rise building that serves as both
an office and residence for the owner.
Its facade conveys fast movement-divided into two
parts. Firstly, Biowood is used for both its technical and
aesthetic strengths as it’s visually dynamic and durable.
Horizontal grills, or louvres, are also used around the
glass exterior to simulateously create movement and pri-
vacy. The matte texture of Equitone, a fiberous cement
panel, serves to further this through its material proper-
ties.
The building has three main sections. The first floor
consists of parking and reception. The second through
fourth floors serves as office space for rent. Lastly, the
top floor acts as the owner’s residence. Green spaces
also permeate the space to allow for a more productive
and comfortable environment.
The architectural and structural elements erve to create
both a naturalistic and modern atmosphere through pure
and functional design.
