Lighthouse aims to inspire personal transformation through coaching. When Melissa Gillen and Donna Stevenson met, they
realised that they made a really special combination
and together they could take their work to new
levels.
Both passionate Transformational Life Coaches who
have enjoyed success in the private sector with a
wide variety of clients and conditions, they both
believed that there was a higher purpose for them.
Their goal was to find a way of sharing their talent
and experience with the wider market, enabling
widespread change across organisations regardless of
industry or sector.
Between them Melissa and Donna have experienced
their share of challenges and personal trauma
however they have learned a lot from it and this
helps them build rapport with their clients and show
natural empathy to their issues.
They are both strong supporters of Solution Based
therapy, in agreement that focusing on the issue
itself can give it too much energy which can consume
the client and cloud the opportunities they have to
make positive changes to their lives.
They speak from experience, and have inspired many
clients to make positive changes to their lives, they
are highly qualified in a wide range of techniques
that they use to enable clients to understand
themselves better and make changes that will take
them in the direction they want to go in.
Donna is an accredited NLP Practitioner and Melissa
is an accredited Master NLP Practitioner. In addition
their skill set also includes Life & Career Coaching,
Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and
Thought Field Therapy.
Lighthouse aims to work with people from all
backgrounds, to give them the skills they need to
overcome the things that are holding them back from
being the person they want to be and living the life
they want to live.
Their sessions are fun and interactive, they expect
clients to bring an open mind, to be prepared to
work hard and to take advantage of the opportunity
they have to make change.
In return clients leave with an understanding of who
they are, what they want and how they can use the
resources available to them to achieve their goals.
There is no magic involved in what they do, this is
simply education, inspiration and telling it as it is.

Transformational Change Workshops
We offer a range of workshops, covering a broad spectrum of topics designed to enhance
Communication, Team Working, Resolving Conflict, Building effective Partnerships,
Improving Staff Confidence and Overcoming the Roadblocks to Success, Empowerment
and Leadership. Workshops can also be tailored to suit specific needs of the organisation.
Transformational Coaching
We offer bespoke coaching packages tailored to the needs of the organisation, we are
happy to deliver these as one off sessions or as part of a wider cultural change
programme. We also offer a range of Coaching packages for individuals.
Networking Events
We organise 2 monthly networking events, one is specifically devoted to women as part of
our women’s initiative, however the other is open to everyone who is interested in
transformational change.
Reflections Retreat
We run 2-day women only retreat twice a year and this provides the opportunity for
relaxation, reflection and personal development time for women who need to reassess or
refocus on who they are and what they want out of life. This is a fun filled programme,
which incorporates everything from focused personal development workshops, relaxation,
yoga, meditation and mindfulness.
Motivational Speaking
We are happy to give talks on what we do and why we do it, we both have exceptional
stories to share, which are guaranteed to resonate with a wide range of people.

The Glasgow Women’s Initiative aims to inspire,
support and enable women to live their lives
without limits.
The Glasgow Women's initiative has been designed by women for women.
We know how stressful the life of the modern woman is and how difficult it can be to
juggle Life, Career, Relationships and Kids.
Success for many of us is managing to get the kids out to school on time or even clocking
up the hours on the day job counting the hours down until the weekend.
Many of us strive for more but give up as the pressure to be the best at everything we do
becomes too much and we often believe we aren't good enough to have more in our lives.
Our aim is to help women believe in themselves, to educate and inspire them to be the
best version of themselves, unlocking the potential and capability to enable them to truly
achieve things they never thought possible, creating the future they have always dreamed
of, to live their lives without limits.
The Glasgow Women's Initiative is here to encourage you to discover these hidden Gems
that are just waiting to be unleashed into the world.

Project 15, working hard to determine values,
creating vision and empowering young adults to
live the life they want, not the one they inherit.
Our Project 15 Initiative aims to help young adults overcome life-limiting mindsets.
Our mission is to work with this age group to help them unlock their potential and
educate them to believe in themselves and all they have to offer the world, regardless
of their start in life.
Too many young people grow up believing that the only option they have is to follow
in the footsteps of their parents and grandparents. If their role models have never
achieved success or been sucked into a life of crime or addiction their children believe
that this is their destiny.
We want to break that chain and give these guys hope.
Our programme will educate, inspire and support these young adults as they move
forward in their lives, breaking the cycle and doing things their way.
Working out what their values are, what their goals are and working with them to
develop the skills and coping strategies they need to achieve them.
This isn't training this is transformational coaching at its best, giving hope. Inspiring
change and enabling people to live a life they have only ever dreamed of.
We offer sessions for both Young Adults and People Working with Young Adults.
Sessions can be tailored to the specific needs of the organisation and can be delivered
in workshop or ongoing programmes.
