To Whom It May Concern,
RE: Letter of Recommendation for Melissa Crespin
This letter of recommendation is written on behalf of the person referenced above.
Ms. Crespin worked under my direction for a period of fourteen (14) months for the Sandoval
County Community Services Division Senior Programs, as the Center Supervisor of the Cuba
Senior Center. During that time I had the great pleasure of working with a person who had
such a passion for serving the seniors of the County with such integrity and an ethical approach.
She was able to develop and grow the Cuba Senior program to a new level. The senior clients
could not have been in better hands.
She managed several staff members providing guidance and oversight for a program assistant,
a meal site cook, two meal sites drivers who delivered meals to homebound clients, and a
senior volunteer, all while managing the day to day operations of the program, and seeing to
the needs of the senior clients. She worked closely with other senior program center
supervisors coordinating events and activities, always going the extra mile to ensure that the
seniors received the services they required and/or needed.
She was highly respected by staff, colleagues, and the seniors that she served. I found her to be
a hard-working self-starter who invariably understood what her job was and knew how to get it
done efficiently. She is an innovative and critical thinker who is resourceful and solution-
oriented. She functioned well as a team leader and worked effectively as a team member. Her
interpersonal, communication, and customer services skills are phenomenal.
In closing, Ms. Crespin has the ability to excel in any position, and would be such an asset to any
organization. If additional information is required, I can be reached at (505) 235-3015.
Sincerely,
Carla Cisneros, Director
