My experience workingwith Kari Koehler was delightful and rewarding. Miss Koehler is an
articulate, to the point, dedicated individual. I believe she wouldbe an asset in any capacity.
Kari Koehler contacted me witha proposition to provide Hygiene type services for the population
in a local low income retirement complex. Miss Koehler took the time withthese people to find out
what they needed. She then approached me withthe request to offerthese services on a voluntary
basis. I am a very busy person. I am a nurse as wellas a retired cosmetologist. Her straight to the
point approach, the organized information she provide to support the request and effortto stay in
touch made this request, a reality.
As part of the management staff, Kari was on top of keeping things running smoothly. In the role as
volunteer manager, she was responsible foroversight and management of the volunteer program.
She showed an ability to assess the need for volunteers. She created volunteer program materials
(policies and procedures, applications, volunteer agreements, orientation handbooks). She kept
appropriate information for tracking of volunteer statistics.
Kari has exceptional skill when it comes to developing volunteer position descriptions. She has the
boldness needed to outreach to find volunteers. Miss Koehler was able to ask formy credential in a
manner that was very professional. In effortsto maintain safety for those utilizing the service, she
was competent in Screening (interviews, required background checks,etc.) as well as matching
volunteers to organizational needs and opportunities.
Kari’s take charge attitude, professional approach, and genuine care forpeople are qualities that
allowed my volunteering experience to be successful. I wouldhighly recommend Kari Koehler.
