8. Nutrition & Addiction
• Nutritional advises :
• Several feeding times but small volume meals.
• High potassium level meals (ex. :vegetables ,banana
, potatoes ,…)
• Reduce caffeine usage
• Fiber obtain ,exercise ,adequate water drinking ,
• High calories diets (proteins ,vitamins ,minerals )
instead of fat
• Low salt diet (steamed vegetables and free
cholesterol meals )
9. Nutrition & Depression
• What is depressions :
• Signs and symptoms :anxiety ,loss of energy ,fatigue
,loss of concentrations , loss of self stem , …
• It may go to suicide
• Nutrition advises :barley (in soups ) ,cabbage
,spinach ,bines ,…
• Forbidden meals in depressions :sugar, honey
,biscuits ,sweets .
10. Obesity & Cancers
• WHO has issued that 25 to 30 % of breast ,colon
endometrial ,kidneys , esophagus cancers caused from
over weight .
• Over weight = B.M.I > 25
• Obesity = B.M.I > 30
• Over weight upper than 5 kg in adults (18 up to 51 years
old ) increase those cancer risk.
