2. My magazine needs to appeal to a certain target audence and they have to want to buy it in order for
my magazine to be a successful seller. I did research into the kind of target market I will try and
appeal to. I decided I wanted a younger crowd and to go for the ‘ emo/rocker’ vibe.
3. I created a questionarre on survey monkey to
help me decide on a target audience. It helped
me see what ages I should go for and what kind
of thing people prefer in music magazine. I also
did a reader profile and audience profiles which
helped me see what youngsters amongst me
enjoy in music magazines and what my target
audience should be.
