• SYSTEM TESTING is a level of software
Testing where a complete and integrated
Software is tested.The purpose of this is to
evaluate the system’s compliance with the
specified requirements.

• Usually , Black box testing method is used.
When performed:
System Testing is the third level of testing
performed after integration testing.
Who performs it ?
Normally, independent Testers perform System
Testing.

• It cannot be the alternative for White box.
• It checks the behaviour,hence also known as
behavioural testing.
• Foruses on functional requirements.
• Helps in deriving a set of input conditions.
• It is applied in the final stage of testing.

Testing the behaviour of the application.
• Sanity Testing:
Testing the minor functionality of the
application.
• Regression Testing:
Testing the whole application to check

2.Stress Testing: Estimates the peak load
3.Data/Volume Testing: Test to find the
