express everything to their
parents, which is the root
cause of all conflicts. When a
teen unable to share
everything with his/her
parent, there has to be a
communication gap. As there
remains the communication
gap, there will be
understanding and
expectation gap
automatically.

8. Well, if you have a butterfly in your palm and if
your press it hard to ensure your authority over it
obviously it'll die. The same is the case with
parenting. Parents need to give children chances to
have experiences of their lives. And even they
should encourage them and guide them in various
cases. I had a relationship of 2 years 6 months back
which I had to end because my parents had found
out and they reacted to it in a manner as if it was a
crime and started mental torture to a
comparatively large extent creating a suffocating
situation from which I had to strive really hard to
survive.

parents’ eager to see their children as the best, the
perfect. As a result, teens should not take their angry
words so literally. In fact, they should take their parents
words as a different way of expressing love, affection,
and care.
