To whom it may concern,
I am writing to offer my recommendation of Ms. May Alwashmi for employment within your
company. I had the privilege of speaking to the graduating class in the Human Resources
Development Program at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, Illinois. It was during this
time on campus that I had the opportunity to meet with and spend time getting to know Ms.
Alwashmi as well as others within her class. I was immediately impressed with several things
about Ms. Alwashmi. I saw her professional, yet warm and friendly demeanor as being a
strength in not only working with people, but also critical in support of her interests in working
to create change and improvements within an organization. She communicated her interests
and career goals extremely well. During my time with the class, there were several
opportunities for open discussion on numerous topics involving the real life day-to-day
challenges in the development and training of employees as well as the theory and process of
training program analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In each
discussion, Ms. Alwashmi demonstrated an impressive level of understanding of the theoretical
and practical aspects of the topics as well as offered valuable insight in the discussions. It only
takes a few minutes with Ms. Alwashmi to see that she is passionate about an opportunity to
develop and improve the knowledge and skills of others. Personally speaking, with over 35
years of experience in the areas of operations, maintenance and training, it is always
encouraging for me to spend time with young adults like Ms. Alwashmi and to see the future
leadership within the areas of my career which have brought me the greatest reward and
satisfaction. I can assure you, that if Ms. Alwashmi lived in the Chicago area, she would be a
