STRATEGY TO INCREASE TRAFFIC TO STORE
 INCREASE STORES APPEAL
Have attractive window displays to catch the interest of pedestrians passing by. As
the store is surrounded by major Lorry Stations with pedestrian traffic, If we them
something to look at that shows them what you have to offer it will be a good way to
increase traffic.
 DEVELOP A DATA BASE FOR CUSTOMERS(STORE SPECIFIC)
Having a strong data base of customers is a way to keep customers posted in terms
of new activities including exclusive deals going on in- store targeted at getting
customers from their homes to the shop.
 EMPLOY USE OF DIGITALPRINT MEDIA
Using digital media like fliers, banners with deals and exclusives only available in-
store with directions to store is a means to drive traffic to store.
 LOCALIZED RADIO ADVERTS
Employing local radio stations to run radio advertisement and lpm and customers
giving good rating on service standards in shop can improve stores rating and
subsequently traffic to store.
 RUN PROMO/ BTL CAMPAIGN
Run fun, crazy and/or creative promotions around one deeply discounted item.
If a great job of making the promotion memorable with one-two punch of fun in-
store happening either in or outside of store coupled with deep discount will drive
lots of traffic.
 SOCIAL MEDIA HILIGHT
Highlight positive experiences that our current customers are having on social media. Take
candid shots of our customers doing business in your store and post them on our social
media pages. This willhighlight the positive experience of in-store experience. There is
agreat deal of benefit when we can echo meaningful real lifeinteractions in stores on social
media.
Another facetis to encourage customers to share their positive experiences at your store on
Facebook,Twitter, or Whatsapp. This will create a positive buzz about your store/business
amongst your customers’.
