When looking at Dan Snow’s documentaries it is clear he has a common theme and
style for his documentaries. It is mostly about famous events in British history, but
often he tries to make not so well known events more apparent looking into small
details of forgotten events. His style if very much expository, in that he speaks
directly to the viewer with almost an authorities commentary. Often he can come
across with a participatory approach as he gets involved with certain activities he
is researching or looking into.
