- 6. RESEARCH QUESTIONS Emily - Shift Manager @FYE Do you offer consignment to indie artists? No, they do not offer it at all. How often do marketing reps visit from the record labels? They haven’t had a record label come in to the store. Emily was pretty crude with her responses and kept the conversation very short and awkward. Information was hard to come by.
- 7. ANY EVENTS COMING TO THE STORE? YES. They have a membership promotional event that gives members a BACKSTAGE VIP PASS to all things FYE.
- 8. FYE DOESN’T GIVE THE RECORD A RSD STICKER. THEY SHOWCASE THE RECORD AND DOESN’T FEEL IT NEEDS LABELING. RECORD STORE DAY!
- 9. THIS SWAG IS 50 % OFF Most swag is “stuff we all get” that is typically free. This swag is not free but it is considered “SWAG.”

- 11. REFLECTION Would you use this store for a local indie artist’s album release? I personally would not. FYE is not prepared to accommodate an indie artist.They don’t carry my genre’s music. Every store should carry music in your genre, to be a good fi t. FYE doesn't have clientele that are interested in my music. And their employees are not open to working with independent artists, whatsoever.
