• The basic of the machine is a rotating divided crankshaft (A1),
• Its barrel cranks (A1.1) are equipped with front sprockets (not displayed),
• Pins (A1.2) serve to secure the satellites,
• Counterweight (A1.3) balances the weight of the pins and satellites.

Satellite Segment
• Satellite (A2) is created by a planet crankshaft (consisting of cranks
A2.1 and a A2.2 pin) and a circulating wheel (A2.3) with front
sprockets along the edge (the sprockets are not displayed).

Piston with the Piston-rod
• The eye of the piston-rod (A3.1) securely connected to the piston
(A3.2) is located on the pin of the planet crankshaft.

Mechanics of the Gear of the Direct Movement
of the Piston on Rotation
• Sprocket circulating wheel of the satellite is rolling along the inner
sprocket section of the fixed crown (A4).
• The result of combining the turning of the main shaft and the opposite
rotation of the satellite is a motion of the pin of the planet shaft, i.e.
the eye of the piston-rod along a segment path.

Parameters of the Geometry
• Radius of the crown R4 is double of the radius of the circulating
wheel of the R2,satellite,
• Radius of the diameter of the circulating wheel of the R2 satellite is
the same as the set-out of the main crankshaft R1.

Rotation Synchronization of the Divided Main
Shaft
• Divided parts of the main crankshaft (A1) are synchronized by the
second main shaft (B1) due to the sprockets on the barrel cranks in the
area of the mirror rotation.

• Even on the counter-rotating shaft (with no display) satellite segments
(B2) are located on the pins through bearings.

Charakteristic Features of the Machine
Mechanism with such an arrangement has the following features:
• Balanced shifting forces and moments of the 1. grade (forces and
moments of grade 2 do not exist at all),
• balancing individual satellites and every section of the main crankshafts
appropriate to individual pistons and total balance of rotating forces and
moments.

• By eliminating the side forces effecting the piston the mantle loses the
function of balancing the tilting caused by the asymmetrical friction
with the walls of the piston. The mantle can be shortened to measure
sufficient for the effective transfer of the heat from the piston.
• The ratio of the boring and the stroke can be increased.
• The filling effect is improved by enlarging the valves.
• The revs of the machine can be incresed.
• Dimensions of the machine in the displayed arrangement of a two-row
four cylinder with alternating position of the cylinders are smaller for
the same volume and the shape is more compact, than at a regular
design with con rods.

• By optimizing of weight and shape of
the counterweight on the main and
satellite crank it is possible to balance
well the shifhting forces of a one-
cylinder or two-cylinder with opposite
pistons.
• A four-cylinder in a row is fully
balanced without any balancing
elements.
