2. Construction project templates -
Predefined templates prepped for either
construction management or plot
management. Project managers and team
members can collaborate, maintain, and
update project status, allowing managers to
proactively identify and resolve potential
issues with each engagement. Project
activities can be linked with company
financials to help ensure accurate accounting
and billing throughout the project lifecycle.
Change management - Create change
requests in addition to change orders.
Change requests are detailed breakdowns
of potential changes to the project budget
and commitments, such as additions,
deletions, or edits to the existing cost or
revenue budget
Retainage/Holdbacks - If your company or
customer retains a part of the amount of a
bill/invoice, to process the total amount of
the bill/invoice, at least two bills are created:
the bill/invoice with retainage and the
retainage bill/invoice.
Compliance records – Lien waivers - a
compliance document involved in the
payment process for a project. The party
that receives payment, signs a lien waiver to
waive their rights against the property in
exchange for the payment.
T5018 – Generate the printout form for the
T5018 documentation based on information
stored in the system.
Plot management – Can track each plot on
an individual basis, track the progress of the
sale, and respective breakdown of the
mortgage.
Document Log/attachments – Attach any
documentation, files and/or images to any
record in the system (project, customer, or
vendor/contractor) so that the files are
immediately accessible. There is also the
option to use file drag and drop which allows
users to drag files onto the respective
record.
Daily Field reports - To make sure that
everyone is looking at the same data and
that the data has been transferred from the
field to the office accurately, daily field
reports may be used by project managers
and site supervisors to record observations,
activities, and conditions that occur on a
project site every day
Time and material tracking – Projects allow
the business to record time against tasks,
record progress and track baseline variance
for the time employee and contractors
spend on their work.
Expense receipts with corporate credit
cards – NetSuite’s employee centre allows
users to submit expense reports for
corporate credit cards with receipts and
images attached for the accounting team to
review.
