1. Rating tools I will be rating 8 technology tools out of my own personal experience during my time in ED 271 class. I will rate all technology tools using a number scale 5 being the best and 1 being the worst or not so great.

2. Technology tool #1 One of the first of many technology tools that were introduced to me was Moddle. A site that was created for UOG students and teachers to better help communicate between each other as well as post homework and class schedule for the upcoming semester. This site has great potential to help students stay organize, keep up with the class events, and turn in homework on time. As well as help teachers announce any upcoming events or post any notes, and homework for the semester. But sadly not many teachers use this tool and it would have been helpful in my previous semesters. Overall I would give this tool a rating of 4 out of 5, if only more teachers would take advantage of this helpful tool.

3. Technology Tool #2 The second tool I got to use was a big step out of my comfort zone. It was firefox, I jumped in to unknown territory and I have only used the internet explorer so far and I had no idea what firefox was or what it does for the internet. After the introduction to firefox and a few days of use I honestly can say I am going to use it a lot more. It is practically the same as the internet explorer but it has a better internet security, relatively simple to use and not that different from explorer I give this tool a 5 out of 5 and I will highly recommend to other people.

4. Technology Tool #3 Google apps reminds me of the apps on itunes, except it is free. It is a great tool it has a variety of apps that are helpful and useful I am still new to it but there is big chance I will use it in the future. This tool gets a 5 out 5 because their are so many apps I want to try and find as well as use.

5. Technology Tool #4 Prezi an amazing technology tool, it makes very impressive presentation that are eye catching and also interesting to look at. But the problem with this tool is that there is a big learning curve in order to use it. I had problems using this tool before I can really use it. This tool gets a 3 out 5 because of the learning curve you have to go through before bieng able to use the tool to its full potential.

6. Technology Tool #5 SlideShare.net tool reminds me of power point but also it puts itself at a higher level than power point. It enables the person to create presentations just like power point and also the person is able upload on an online storage and present from any computer with internet access. But there is no add on for screen transitions which is a downside. Slide share gets 4 out of 5, it would have gotten a 5 if it had the transition affects for the screen shots.

7. Technology Tool #6 Delicious is another tool that was introduced to me in my technology class. It is a cool tool because it helps me bookmark a lot of websites as well as shares other related websites. It is a simple website very easy to use and find websites related to your bookmarks. This tool gets a 5 out of 5 for its simple usage and helpful site linking to other peoples site that are related to my site that I have bookmarked.

8. Technology Tool #7 Eyejot is a very easy and simple use for video chatting with people around the world. It is simple to do just record the message type in the email and press send plus it is free. I like for the fact the person on the receiving does not have to be awake or online to receive it. This tool gets a 5 out 5 for its simple and easy to use directions.

9. Technology Tool #8 Voicethread the last tool I am going to rate is a very useful for educators. It allows the person share audio, video, slide-shows, or any other multimedia. It is free up to only three uploads anymore after that you have to subscribe to it. Overall this tool gets a 4 out of 5 it would have gotten a perfect score if it were not for the subscription.
