- Gained valuable work experience and knowledge working on sub and primary contract projects for the
Naval fleet such as the USS Normandy (CG-60), USS Jackson (LCS-6), USNS Lewis B. Puller (T-ESB-
3), USS San Jacinto (CG-56), USS Stout (DDG-55), USS Winston Churchill (DDG-81), and the USS
George H.W. Bush (CVN-77).
- Worked directly under Master Electrician, Mr. Louis Rivera, and other tradesmen with overseeing motor
removal on the San Jacinto; going through the budgeting process of a project from start to finish, and
expanding my knowledge of the Maritime Industry.
- Worked directly on designing and remodeling a habitability modification for coffin racks in Sheet Metal
Shop using AutoCAD and the shop equipment.
- Aluminum MIG and TIG welding experience under guidance of Shop Foremen; Mr. Will Early and Mr.
Paul Bennett. Completed test plate preparation for 5083-H116 and 6061-T6 Aluminum.
- Acquired Security clearances for several shipyards, and access to sensitive information for Ship Repair
