1. SOLAR WATER PUMP – BAJA, MEXCO
[ MISSION STATEMENT ]
The La Mision Children's Fund (LMCFund)
is a charity that operates several
programs in surrounding communities,
including supplemental nutrition and food
distribution, and medical programs. LMCF
works closely with a network of
orphanages to provide direct financial
support for monthly operational costs,
infrastructure improvement,
accountability training, and financial
management.
[ PROJECT GOALS ]
The project aims to design a high-
efficiency, solar-powered water pump
that can be used in a variety of
applications and locations and maintained
by volunteers with little to no technical
experience. We are currently working
with two orphanages: Rancho El Faro and
Rancho de Los Angelitos.
[ QUARTERLY GOALS ]
By the end of this quarter, we hope to
have our pump ready and customized for
implementation at Rancho de Los
Angelitos.
