Aligned
movement
• Cold war which is started
at the end of the World
War two in 1945 and it
last until the fall of the
Soviet Union in 1991.
• Cold War is a
competition, series of
confrontations between

is not a shooting war.
Both countries have the
capacity to respond to
the attacks, but they
never initiate a war.
 Non- Aligned countries
play a huge role in
reducing Cold War
conflicts.
 Non- Aligned Movement allowed countries to not sided
with Eastern Alliance or with Western Alliance . It hosted
several conferences and summits that help to develop a
unity among neutral nations.
 Non- Aligned Movement had a belief that a competition
between superpowers caused damage to the world and
they started to spread the idea of global cooperation.
 Jawaharlal Nehru, one of the main leaders in Non-Aligned
Moment play a key role in mediating
Between the two Koreas.
