This document describes the rules and results of the final round of a science quiz competition held on February 28, 2020 at SCTCE, Papanamcode. 4. RULES
The finals would have five rounds , each containing five questions under the catgories of
Women in science
Science today
India in science
Science and history
Visual round
Each correct answer would yield 10 points
10 seconds would be provided for all teams , except the team whom the question is directed
to for pouncing.
5. RULES
A wrong answer for a pounced question would yield -10 points
No negative points would be awarded for giving a wrong answer for the team, to whom
the question is directed to.
Questions can be passed , if the original team fails to answer the question correctly
Answering a passed question correctly would yield 5 points
No negative points would be awarded for answering a passed question incorrectly
