Manuel Fernandez conducted a hazard zone inspection of a machining lab. During the inspection, Fernandez observed several ergonomic and safety issues. Workers were observed bending their necks and backs without support while operating drill presses. They also had to repetitively turn machine handles. Additionally, safety hazards like unguarded grinders and lathes, unlabeled bottles, oil spills on the floor, and improper storage of flammable liquids were identified.
