females because it is a general cultural phenomenon to
give preferences to men over women.

central position taken by either male or a female
management, 44 percent concluded that a male manager is
preferred over a female manager. 38 percent said they had
no preference and only 18 percent preferred a female
manager.

questionnaires. Women ranked higher than men on 28 of
31 measures
 The Copernicus study. The survey of marketing executives

others...while only 20% said the same thing about women.
