Project X-axis, a 2145 sq. office exemplifies high-
fuc oning, dynamic space planning and compelling
interior space. A light and bright, recep on strives
to give a invi ng and yet minimalist asthe cs with
walnut veneer and PU paint ceiling which con n-
ues to the wall.
The The extended area of recep on is the wai ng area
which is the wooden plank sea ng on the PU paint-
ed base highlighted with the textured wall so as to
reduce the wear and tear of the space verisimili-
tude en cing.
Nestled on the first floor of the mul -tenant commercial
building, the site has window-openings on the
south-west sides. Keeping in mind the glare and the
sharp sunlight, the cabins were planned to be on the
south-west side whilst the staff area was in the center of
the space so as to spread the light evenly throughout
and thus making the space look spacious. The glass par-
ons bons between the cabins and the staff area allowed the
natural light to come in.
To give a li le play on the ceiling, it is divided in wooden
fibre boards of different sizes with white ma and gloss
PU paint finish and thus making the area cap va ng.

Vice Chairman’s Cabin Plan
The idea was to give a different charac-
ter to each cabin simultaneously follow-
ing the same language in the entire
site. The cabins were designed to
mimic the individuality of the occupants.
The main cabin was more extravagant
and scumptous while the vice chair-
man’s cabin was minimal with sleeker
lines and elementary cilieng design.
The contrasting materials of the interi-
ors like metal, marble, steel, wood,
glass and fabric create a dynamic
fusion of textures. The colour palette
emphasizes these textures as light is
absorbed and reflected so as to avoid
the stark sunlight but reflect it through-
out the entire space. For example the
hunter douglas curtains and the wood
tones absorb the light while the white
walls and the glass partitions reflect it.

Exhibi ng the contemporary design style, the ver cal house project is inspired
by the basic shapes of geometry. The ground floor consists of a living room,
dinning, pooja room, kitchen and a guest room. Double-height windows allow
for this ver cal site to feel more spacious whilst le ng in the daylight.
The main challenThe main challenge faced in was to comouflage the unplanned columns into a
more planned and directed way. The space planning of the floor was such that
it allows the house look humongous and unblocked while maintaining the pri-
