1. Does my media product use or challenges the forms and conventions of real
media products?
My music magazine goes with the conventions of an Anime music magazine as
it follows all the conventions from the colours to the models.
The colours that I haveused are very brightand colourfuland looking at an
Anime magazine it shows thatI have followed the conventions. The font of the
title also follows the convention as the font is very large and in a bubble
writing style. The writing throughoutthe magazinefollows the Anime music
conventions as it is unique on every page with different fonts on every page.
The models that I haveused also follow the convention of an Anime magazine.
As you can see the boy models all have the shorthair yet have it stuck up like
most boys in Anime. The girl models follow the conventions more than the
boys as most of the girls seen in any Anime are seen much more sexualised
then the men in the Anime magazines. To follow the conventions, I had to
make surethat the female models were wearing skirts that hung abovethe
knees and tops that looked very tight on them. For one of my models I have
even tried to turn into an anime image as most Anime music magazines have
drawings in them.
