2. Aim:
To make the headmaster/headmistress/principal/member of management committee aware about
the issue of road safety so that they can make the students in their respective institutions aware
about the issue of road safety.
Objective:
Trainees after the course
 Can describe the national and local situation of road safety.
 Can talk about the causes, effects and prevention of road accidents.
 Can explain the importance of making students aware about the issue of road safety.
 Can describe the ways of safely walking in roads.
 Can talk about the name, work and importance of preserving engineering opportunities
related to road safety.
 Can talk about the components (flipchart) used in providing education about road safety
in institutions and its uses.

 Causes, effects and prevention of road accidents.
 Importance of making students aware about the issue of road safety.

 Rules of walking safely.
 Action taken after the road accident.

intersection lines, traffic lights signal (for pedestrians).
