as Saudi Arabia , UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and
Lebanon.
The Caucasus, which is a mountainous region,
lies between the Black sea and the Caspian sea.

landforms including deserts ,lakes, mountains
and rivers.

continent such as kara kurn,Takla Makan (china)
and Thar (Indian desert) deserts.
The Arabian desert, the largest desert in Asia.
Occupies most of the Arabian peninsula.
The Gobi desert the second largest one in Asia
,receives very little rainfall because the Himalaya
mountains block rains from reaching it.

Many important lakes exists in Asia .
Including the Caspian sea (saltwater lake)
, the largest lake in the world which is located on
the border between Asia and Europe.
Lake Baikal (southern Russia) is known as the
oldest freshwater lake, and the Aral sea is slowly
disappearing and is mostly polluted because of the
use of the fertilizers or chemicals used to make
soil more fertile.

21. Mountains
Asia includes many mountain ranges, including the
Himalayas, which has over one hundred mountains
some of which are the highest peak such as mount
Everest ,Altay mountain and Ghats mountain.
These mountains and specially mount Everest are
famous for challenging climbers to the peak where
climbers need special equipment as the air has so
little oxygen.

22. Rivers
Many rivers are found on the continent of Asia,
including the Yangtze River which is the longest
river in Asia.
The yellow river is the second largest river in
china and world’s sixth largest river.
The world’s longest river, the Ob flows through
Russia. The rivers of the Tigris and Euphrates are
the birthplace of the world’s civilization of
Mesopotamia.
