Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the business’ strategy and annual budgets for the KSA
operations. Achieve budgeted grow th, revenue and profitability targets and ensure compliance w ith w orking capital policies.
Lead by example and embed a culture of customer centricity across the organization leading to best in class customer
service. Provide direction and oversight of all business functions and ensure compliance w ith Planet Pharmacy’s standards
and values.
- Ensure sustained development and grow th of Planet Pharmacy’s profile and presence in KSA. A key element of this area
w ould be to build and maintain strategic relationships and netw orks to support business grow th and operations.
- Ensure effective staff management, including efficient manpow er planning (including Saudization), resourcing and team
development , Direct the development of strategies, w orkplans and budget targets for the retail business and all departments
in KSA. Lead by example and guide / motivate employees to develop customer centricity and operate as per Planet
Pharmacies values. Meet w ith Department Heads on a w eekly basis to evaluate and monitor performance, address key
challenges, and provide guidance and support to ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets and compliance w ith
w orking capital policies.
- Submit regular progress reports to the group general Manager , highlighting best practices, areas of under-performance,
variances in actual and budgeted targets, and recommending appropriate corrective actions. Work in close collaboration w ith
the Finance Manager to review the business’ financial position, ensure effective control and management of the budget, and
prepare monthly / quarterly / annual financial reports and statements.
- Collaborate w ith Group Marketing Manager to develop a marketing and promotions plan for business in KSA. Manage
marketing activities in KSA, including all advertisement, promotional and brand management initiatives for the Retail and
Wholesale divisions.
- Collaborate w ith Group IT Manager to identify the business’ current and future IT needs in KSA and ensure they are reflected
and addressed in the Group’s overall IT strategy.
- Establish and ensure compliance w ith best in class practices in health & safety, quality, customer service and operational
excellence. Ensure any non-compliance issues are effectively addressed and prompt remedial actions taken
- Monitor and analyses trends and developments in consumer behavior, regulatory environment and competitor landscape
that might affect the business’ position in KSA. Provide feedback and recommendations to Operations Director and relevant
Department Heads
- Promptly mediate all escalated grievances and/or issues from employees / business functions in KSA.
- Maintain strong relationships and regular contacts w ith Government authorities (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor etc.),
suppliers, media agencies, private bodies and other external stakeholders. Leverage these relationships as and w hen
necessary to attain best commercial outcome for the business.

- Devise and develop regional recruitment and manpow er plan in line w ith the business needs and requirements.
