despite the fact that more females are working in
software companies.

a sustainable manner.

17. WOMEN IPR PROGRAM BY
GOVERNMENT OF INDIA
• Government of India through Patent facilitating
Center implements Women Scientists Scheme on
IPR.
• Various scheme aims to train women scientists
having qualifications in science/ engineering/
medicine or allied areas in the area of Intellectual
Property Rights for a period of one year.

• Woman are the backbone to preserve and
protect IP.
• There is a need to make concrete efforts
towards facilitating the incorporation of
women’s knowledge through development
plans.
