Alaxan FR is a capsule containing a synergistic combination of ibuprofen and paracetamol. It provides relief for mild to moderate pain of musculoskeletal origin. The capsule allows for faster absorption and earlier onset of pain relief compared to the individual ingredients. Dosage is one capsule every 6 hours as needed, not to exceed 10 days without a doctor's direction. Side effects include gastrointestinal issues and other minor reactions. It should be used with caution in those with liver or kidney disease.

 Adults and children 12 years and older.

5.  Side Effects
 Minor allergic type such as skin rashes , stomach and intestinal undesirable effects such as
ulceration and/or bleeding .Other undesirable side effects are indigestion ,heartburn, nausea,
vomiting , eating disorder (anorexia),diarrhea , constipation, mouth ulcers (stomatitis),flatulence
,bloating and abdominal pain. May also cause dizziness, drowsiness, general ill feeling (malaise) ,
lightheadedness , nervousness , headache , fatigue , mood swings (emotional liability), loss of
sensation (paresthesia),hallucination and dream abnormalities

6.  Precautions
 This medicine should be given with care to patients with kidney or liver disease, including patients
taking other drugs that affect the liver .do not use with any other product containing paracetamol ,
ibuprofen or other NSAIDs . if you are taking cough and cold preparations, other fever reducers or
pain relievers, check if they contain paracetamol (or acetaminophen), ibuprofen or do not take
more than the recommended dose or duration of treatment. This medicine may cause
 Stomach bleeding if you are 60 years old or older, have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems,
taking a blood thinning (anticoagulant)or steroid drug.
