9. How many people have returned
to Karnali?

• Approx. 65,000 people have returned from India
(ground crossing)
• Very few of them have returned after staying back at
home for some months
• Little over 1,550 people have come from other
countries (by flights)
• Approx. 20,000 people have come from other
provinces within Nepal.

• Basically NONE as they are -
• Unskilled, low education, no money for start-up!
• But, they have experiences and exposures
But, could be engaged in -
• Agriculture?
