FINITE SET :

of elements.

number of elements.

4. NULL SET :
A set which contains no elements
is called null set.
EX : Odd numbers divisible by 2,

5. SINGLETON SET:
A set which contains only
one element is called singleton set.
Ex : numbers of moons to earth,

UNION SETS : When all the
elements of two or more sets are
written in one set is called union
sets.
EX : If A={1, 2, 4, 5} and B={2, 4, 6,
8, 10 }
AUB = {1,2,4,5,6,8,10}
7. INTERSECTION SETS :
Set of common elements of
given sets is called intersection sets.
EX : A = { 1 ,2 ,3} and B = {3 , 4 ,5}
