This is because in winter, the days are darker and in spring they become lighter.

10. Dear Lauren,
In my English class we are learning about spring. We did a project about our senses. We wrote about
the things we saw, heard, tasted, and felt during the day.
Today I saw a little bird from my window, it made a lovely sound. I also listened to music on the
radio with my sister. I tasted fresh oranges and melon. My parents made a chocolate cake for
dessert and it tasted delicious.Today the weather was sunny, and there were no clouds in the sky. I
felt the sunshine on my face, and a cool breeze through the window.
What did you see, hear, taste, and feel today?
I hope to hear from you soon.
Love from,
Sally
