1. Origin:
On Christmas Day in Rome appears in the document called Chronograph Philocalian dating from 336. Being a liturgical
calendar seems certain that the indication is not a simple historical data shows but as a party is considered to depart
from the other parties December 25th.
Outside Rome, in Africa, the birth is already attested by Optatus of Mileve (360 AD) also celebrating the Adoration of the
Magi with the feast of December 25th. In the East the feast of the birth begins to appear at the end of the fourth
century, Gregory Nazianzus in 380 introduces in Constantinople (In Sancta Lumina, PG 36, 349). A speech had on
December 20 by St. John Chrysostom, at that time priest of Antioch, informs us that the first time in 386 birth is
celebrated in that city on December 25 as a party other than the Epiphany (6th January) it was a party coming from
Rome.
The origin of Christmas for me and my religion Christmas is celebrated every December 25, based on memory and
commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

2. In Ecuador there are various activities to choose as regards the cultural
calendar, for example in different sites in the city festivals and
exhibitions are held with the aim of healthy and family fun.
These events are usually accompanied by national music as well as
concerts focused bands for different genres and musical tastes are
performed.
