Dr. MADKOUR, s special research interests are: Physical chemistry, Electrochemistry, Corrosion,
Electrometallurgy, Electro analytical chemistry, Analytical chemistry, Polarography, Electrolytic
extraction of heavy metals from natural ores and deposits, electrochemical thermodynamics, and
Environmental chemistry. Prof. MADKOUR is serving in different positions in Egypt, Republic of

Metallic indium was deposited from aqueous solutions of indium trichloride containing also, acetate,
thiocyanate, chloride, iodide, sulphate, oxalate, ethanol, acetamide and citrate of sodium or potassium. The
optimum conditions are: pH 2-5, current density 2-25 mA cm/sup -2/, temperature 30/sup O/C and metal ion
concentration O.2 mol l/sup -1/. Deposits have been obtained on a platinum sheet cathode. Chemical analysis

The dissolution of aluminium in hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide solutions in the presence of
semicarbazide, thiosemicarbazide and sym.diphenylcarbazide as corrosion inhibitors has been studied using
thermometric, weight-loss and polarization methods. The three methods gave consistent results. The higher
inhibition efficiency of these compounds in acidic than in alkaline madia may be due to the less negative
potential of aluminium in hydrochloric acid solution, favouring adsorption of the …

The dissolution of aluminium in hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide solutions in
the presence ofsemicarbazide, thiosemicarbazide and sym.diphenylcarbazide as corrosion
inhibitors has been studied using thermometric, weight-loss and polarization methods.
The three methods gave consistent results. The higher inhibition efficiency of these
compounds in acidic than in alkaline madia may be due to the less negative potential of

تأليف الكتب في الكيميــــــــــاء :
كتاب: " الكيميـــــــــــاء العمليــــــــة والتطبيقيـــــــة "
يقع الكتاب في 565 صفحة من الحجم الكبير ويحتوي علي خمسة أبواب بالإضافة إلي مقدمــــة.
الناشــــر: دولة الكويت, الهيئة العــــامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب، الكويت, الطبعة الأولي 1773 م.
الدورات والبرامج التدريبيــــــة:
تم اجتياز ثلاثة وعشــــرون دورة وبرنامج تدريبي موزعة بين الجامعـــات المصـــرية وجامعات صنعـــــاء وعمران والحديدة وذمار بالجمهورية
اليمنية بالتعـــــاون مع جامعة مست رخت الهولندية ، وحضور ورش العمل اللاحقة لأسبوع البحث العلمي بجامعة الملك عبد العزيز .
الإشـــــــراف علي الرســــائل العلميــــــة وعضــوية لجــــان التحكيم :
قمت بالإشــــــراف علي عشـــــــرة رســـــائل مـاجستــــير و أربعــــة رسائل دكتوراه, وكنت ممتحنا لرسالة الدكتوراه عـــام 1116 م. للطالبة/آسيا
عبد الله الضبي في تخصص الكيمياء الكيناتيكية بقسم الكيميـــاء بكلية العـــلوم بجامعة صنعــــــاء بالجمهورية اليمنيــــــــة .
بالإضــــافة إلي أنني أشــــــارك في فحص وتحكيم الإنتاج العلمي المقدم من أعضـــاء هيئة التدريس للجان الدائمة للترقيــــــة .
