segmenting a market, a company can reach its target audience
and develop products or services that meet customers'

4. DEMOGRAPHIC
• Demographic segmentation groups customers and
potential customers together by focusing on certain
traits such as age, gender, income, occupation &
family status
5. GEOGRAPHIC
• Geographic segmentation involves segmenting your
audience based on the region they live or work in.
This can be done in any number of ways: grouping
customers by the country they live in, or smaller
geographical divisions, from region to city, and right
down to postal code.
6. PHSCHOGRAPHIC
• Psychographic segmentation is defined as a market
segmentation technique where groups are formed
according to psychological traits that influence
consumption habits drawn from people's lifestyle
and preferences. It is mainly conducted on the
basis of “how” people think and “what” do they
aspire their life to be.
7. BEHAVIOURAL SEGMENTATION
Behavioral segmentation is a form of marketing
segmentation that divides people into different
groups who have a specific behavioral pattern in
common. Users may share the same lifecycle stage,
previously purchased particular products, or have
similar reactions to your messages.
