Arrangements
Liaison with SALT regarding staff changing deadlines and/or

Provides Group guidance and support (AF/FHEA. SFHEA may
meet individually)

– Draft any element of someone’s application
– Observe the mentee’s teaching practice
– Proof-read the application/correct the presentation
– Be held to account for the SAR Panel decisions.

Mentors are not there to:
Liaison with the College contact person on availability to support a particular application deadline
Provides dates and hold up to 3 meetings prior to the application deadline (2 options for each meeting session, therefore 6 total)
Group guidance and support to encourage staff to submit their application to the specific deadline
Provide reminders about central support sessions.
Provide general feedback/prompts on draft applications/presentations
Help in responding to feedback on unsuccessful applications
