To whom it may concern –
I am writing this letter of recommendation for Mr. Logan T. Weichler. Logan was the TA
for this semester of my EBF 304W - Global Management for the Earth, Energy, and
Materials Industries class in the Energy Business Finance major as well a top
student in the previous semester of the same class.
I am writing this letter not only as a professor, but as the retired CEO of a biotech
company with 36 years of business experience. Logan has the experience and qualities
that I look for in today’s hiring/work environment. As my TA and former student in my
course he demonstrated capability in the following areas:
• Team oriented self-starter
• Works well in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Effective communicator
• Fast learner and good team player
• Good strategic thinker/problem solver
• Well organized and detailed
Logan is a results-driven team player. He is a creative thinker and can react quickly.
He can easily put information and ideas together and present them in an organized and
effective manner. As TA, he demonstrated strong leadership and management skills.
I hope that you will give Logan the consideration that he deserves. He is a hard worker
and will immediately add value to any company or academic environment that he is
given the opportunity to join.
