1. Being Best Teacher
Where ever you are, be the best teacher!!!!

Being the best teacher in third-world countries is too hard. Now a day in most
developing and least developed countries this profession is becoming a kind of
get-pass to other professions. most teachers are unhappy because of different
internal and external factors such as leadership, people’s negative attitudes or
lack of respect for the profession, and low salaries. if you are interested in
teaching through the passing of those factors, you are a real teacher. But not a
great or effective teacher. Before you think to be an effective teacher first of all
I want you to think about your best model teacher. Think what are the qualities
of that teacher which inspire you for a long time. Being an effective teacher is
not a one-night result, it is a long-time effort output.
What are the Qualities of an Effective Teacher?
there are a lot of qualities of an effective teacher as journals and articles showed
us. for me, it varies and works differently from teacher to teacher, a place to
place, and time to time. but the most common qualities are:
1. knows his subject in depth: especially at the high school level knowledge
about the subject matter is the first thing that most school leaders focus on. the
one who doesn’t know what he /she teaches may have no confidence and be
easily distracted by simple classroom issues and misbehave in the classroom.
and may loose also the trust and respect of students.
2. Can manage the classroom easily and consistently: Classroom
management is the topic that is mentioned in every seminar and piece of
training for teachers’ professional development. Maybe the approach is different
but all teachers worry about managing their classroom. So the one who can
manage his/her students consistently is an effective teacher
3. Well Organized: most teachers think they are organized and well prepared
but went they enter the classroom the atmosphere may change them and may
not impart what they want. So being Organized and well-prepared is the
2. unquestionable quality of the teacher. a teacher should be well prepared on
preparing instructional materials, their explanation, and each activity that will be
implemented in the classroom.
4. Have high expectations: Effective teachers set high expectations for their
students and guide and direct them to achieve and improve themselves until they
get it.
These are some of the common qualities of an effective teacher. being a teacher
is not easy and being an effective teacher is too hard and needs patience and
consistency in self-development and actualization.
