A magna cum laude JD graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law,
Lisa M. Nousek is a member of the Federal Bar Association.
For nearly a century, the Federal Bar Association (FBA) has served as the
preeminent organization for legal professionals and judges who focus on
federal law. Boasting some 18,000 members across the United States, the
FBA is a valuable networking tool as well as an advocacy group working to
help the federal law system work as well as it can for litigators and
judiciary members.
In terms of governance, members elect 15 individuals to serve as
members of the FBA’s board of directors. This group is responsible for
policy-making and guiding the overall direction and vision of the
organization. FBA members also have the opportunity to earn more than
700 CLE hours through the organization each year.
