☺ Since 2012, we increased our Facebook fan base by 95% and our Twitter following by
241%
☺ Some Facebook stats; 82% of our fans are women and 86% are from Ireland. Through
a weekly average of 12 Facebook posts, Select Hotels reaches on average each week
696 people, generating 6424 organic impressions and our page posts reach 6121 people
weekly.
☺ We have grown from 2 social media profiles in 2013 to actively managing Select Hotels
social media presence on 4 different social platforms, including Pinterest and Google+
reaching over 7,000 users
Select Hotels Website and Online Marketing Campaigns
☺ In 2014, 240,000 visited the Select Website, 2147 bookings and 622 vouchers sold online
resulting in year on year online revenue growth of 49%.
In the first 4 months of 2015, online bookings revenue increased by +22% compared
to same period last year.
☺ Over 10 Integrated Marketing Campaigns ran in the
last 12 months with business partners like Travelzoo in
association with Tourism Ireland, Shandon Travel
Group, Wild Atlantic Way Campaign UK with Tourism
Ireland, IPA, Cooperation Ireland, Hyundai, Athletics
Association of Ireland, EMC, Transport for Ireland and
Applegreen.
☺ Over the last 6 months, Select also ran successful Gift Vouchers campaigns including
Facebook, Display Ads and Remarketing around key dates such as Christmas, Valentines
and Easter. From January to April 2015 Gift Vouchers online sales are up +36%
compared to same period in 2014.
☺ Over 10 competitions ran online per year.
☺ Select Hotels Email database has increased by +230% since the end of 2013. Approx.
3700 acquired through online competitions. We now have over 16,000 emails in our
newsletter database. 20 Ezines sent to our database just over the last 18 months.

he Sunday Business Post Newspaper is happy to continue our successful association with
Select Hotels of Ireland. We publish our niche financial, political and economic newspaper
every Sunday, and are delighted to feature the prestigious hotels under the Select Hotels
umbrella, once per month, throughout the year, in the form of our Crossword
Sponsorship.
Our dedicated, affluent readers, see your hotel promotion, as they are mulling over our extremely
popular crossword, of which we have at least 500 entries each week.
The actual space occupied each time should cost €1,500 + vat per sponsorship, but it is offered free
of charge in exchange for Select Hotels Group providing the prize, which has worked really well to
date.

continued support and contribution to IPA Ireland Section. Since our first meeting
with Una and Deirdre at IPA house in 2013, it has been my privilege to work with you
in establishing IPA links and nurturing, continued collaborating with Select Hotel, Ireland. This
project came to fruition in December 2014, when we launched the IPA/Select Hotels affinity
card at the Ardilaun, Hotel, in Galway City. This initiative enabled IPA registered guests to avail
of your many Select Hotels promotion available on your website. IPA Ireland continues to
promote this initiative both at home and abroad, with our International Guests who come on
holidays to Ireland. IPA Office, Dublin, is delighted to recommend Select Hotels Ireland, to all
our Members and Guest is alike. Select Hotels Ireland endorsed this launch by advertising
through our IPA Christmas Journal.
During 2014, IPA Ireland Section, choose Select Hotels Ireland, by utilising their facilities
countrywide when holding their National Executive Meetings. To mention a few, “The Royal
Marine” Dun Laoighaire, where the General Manager, Mr Aidan Ryan, was more than helpful
and generous with his time in accommodating IPA Ireland. The County Arms, Hotel and
Leisure Club, in Birr, were equally Mr Barry Loughnane and Staff made us feel most welcome.
The Ardiluan Hotel, Galway City where we hosted our Christmas NEC Meeting and Christmas
Dinner. Mr John Ryan and Staff made us all feel so welcome and everything possible was done
to make our overnight a wonderful success. This level of service and attention was evident
throughout and during all our inter actions with Select Hotels, Ireland.
It has been my personal pleasure and that of National Executive, IPA Ireland, to work alongside
Select Hotels during these last months. The journey was rewarding and wethank Select Hotels
for their generosity and trust with IPA Ireland.

Select Hotels on Social Media ☺ Since 2012, we increased our Facebook fan base by 95% and our Twitter following by 241% ☺ Some Facebook stats; 82% of our fans are women and 86% are from Ireland. Through a weekly average of 12 Facebook posts, Select Hotels reaches on average each week 696 people, generating 6424 organic impressions and our page posts reach 6121 people weekly. ☺ We have grown from 2 social media profiles in 2013 to actively managing Select Hotels social media presence on 4 different social platforms, including Pinterest and Google+ reaching over 7,000 users Select Hotels Website and Online Marketing Campaigns ☺ In 2014, 240,000 visited the Select Website, 2147 bookings and 622 vouchers sold online resulting in year on year online revenue growth of 49%. In the first 4 months of 2015, online bookings revenue increased by +22% compared to same period last year. ☺ Over 10 Integrated Marketing Campaigns ran in the last 12 months with business partners like Travelzoo in association with Tourism Ireland, Shandon Travel Group, Wild Atlantic Way Campaign UK with Tourism Ireland, IPA, Cooperation Ireland, Hyundai, Athletics Association of Ireland, EMC, Transport for Ireland and Applegreen. ☺ Over the last 6 months, Select also ran successful Gift Vouchers campaigns including Facebook, Display Ads and Remarketing around key dates such as Christmas, Valentines and Easter. Our dedicated, affluent readers, see your hotel promotion, as they are mulling over our extremely popular crossword, of which we have at least 500 entries each week. Since our first meeting with Una and Deirdre at IPA house in 2013, it has been my privilege to work with you in establishing IPA links and nurturing, continued collaborating with Select Hotel, Ireland. This project came to fruition in December 2014, when we launched the IPA/Select Hotels affinity card at the Ardilaun, Hotel, in Galway City. This initiative enabled IPA registered guests to avail of your many Select Hotels promotion available on your website. IPA Ireland continues to promote this initiative both at home and abroad, with our International Guests who come on holidays to Ireland. IPA Office, Dublin, is delighted to recommend Select Hotels Ireland, to all our Members and Guest is alike. Select Hotels Ireland endorsed this launch by advertising through our IPA Christmas Journal. During 2014, IPA Ireland Section, choose Select Hotels Ireland, by utilising their facilities countrywide when holding their National Executive Meetings. To mention a few, “The Royal Marine” Dun Laoighaire, where the General Manager, Mr Aidan Ryan, was more than helpful and generous with his time in accommodating IPA Ireland. The County Arms, Hotel and Leisure Club, in Birr, were equally Mr Barry Loughnane and Staff made us feel most welcome. The Ardiluan Hotel, Galway City where we hosted our Christmas NEC Meeting and Christmas Dinner. Mr John Ryan and Staff made us all feel so welcome and everything possible was done to make our overnight a wonderful success. This level of service and attention was evident throughout and during all our inter actions with Select Hotels, Ireland. It has been my personal pleasure and that of National Executive, IPA Ireland, to work alongside Select Hotels during these last months.
