 A M Naik Born in Endhal, Gujarat
 He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering
 In 1999, he became CEO and Managing
Director of L&T.
 In 2003, he was appointed as Chairman
of Larsen & Toubro Limited.

5. EDUCATION
 Naik founded the Kharel Education
Society in Gujarat which provides free
education to underprevileged children,
including girls
 Naik is also involving in setting up of
educational instituitions and
providing monetary assistance to
such concerns

6. HEALTH CARE
 Naik formed Nirali Medical Trust for
providing quality medical services to the
poor at affordable price
 Under Naik, L&T organises HIV/AIDS
awareness programmes for migrant
workers regularly.
 He is also a member of Board of Trustees
of the Indian Business Trust for HIV/AIDS

7. SKILL TRAINING
 Under the leadership of Naik, the Naik
Charitable Trust was formed for
providing training, imparting skills and
provides employment to poor people
who are capable.
 According to Naik, skill training is
somewhat of a life transforming
experience – giving youth self-belief and
helping them win back the confidence of
the very society that had considered
them misfits.
