1. Bondax Giving It All
Use of camera
Lots of medium shots are used in this music video to convey a
relationship between the 2 characters (girl and boy she is
cheating on her boyfriend with). Medium shots show intimacy
of the two characters and their body language towards each
other. Shots jump between her and the boy when their on a
motorbike to show that they are looking at each other which
again connotes intimacy between the two characters.
Long shots are featured of the two characters in the middle of
nowhere this is used at this part of the video to create a sense
of freedom that the characters have.
Pace and Rhythm of Editing
The pace and rhythm of the editing is in sync with the songs
beats and storyline. It is fairly fast and a lot of editing is used,
this is to keep upbeat with the pace of the music as it is quite
upbeat and more fast than slow. All of the clips are fairly short
carrying on to the next edit/clip. A lot of cross cutting is used to
create a sense of story line and relationship between the
different characters.
Genre Ingredients
It is very typical of the drum and bass genre to have fast pace
and rhythm editing, as the songs are very upbeat. In this music
video I noticed that cross cutting is used constantly to create
that fast pace feeling and to link with the beat of the song.
Typical of this genre, it features characters adventuring through
maze like bushes/through trees.
Audience and Text
The fans of Bondax are connected through this text with the
storyline if they relate to it. The audience follows the
characters through the text and a lot of suspense if present in
them as they are constantly stuck with the thought that the
cheating couple are going to get caught and they do in the end.

2. The relationship between the audience and the video is that
they are getting involved with the storyline and feeling the
suspense of what the end result will be.
Type of video and Lyrics
The video and lyrics don’t really link together majorly only
slightly in some parts of the song e.g at the end ‘babe our
hearts were meant to unfold’ this is sang as the two characters
run off together which signifies that they have unfolded their
hearts and found who they love.
