PROFILE
I am 17 years old and I am studying animal management at Walkden Sixth Form College. I have
just completed my first year. I am looking for part-time work to include weekend work and
weekdays after college.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
• I have worked voluntarily every week at a local kennels and cattery which I have done
since August 2014.
• I was chosen by my teachers at Flixton Junior School to take part in a scheme over
several weeks to help children with disabilities at Delamere Special School. I received 2
merit awards from my teachers for outstanding care and dedication.
• I’ve played football for several years for Urmston Meadowside and was chosen for the
school football team. I have also played for Urmston hockey team.
EXPERIENCE
I enjoy meting meeting people and being part of a team. I have completed 2 work placements at
Beseeka kennels in Urmston as part of my college course. My responsibility has been to feed the
dogs at certain times and clean out all of the kennels. I have also helped with general outdoor
maintenance at the site. As well as this, I have helped my parents with management of their
current rental properties.

I am currently working towards a BTEC course in Animal Care and Management at Walkden
College.
I have recently completed my first year at Walkden College being awarded 3 distinctions and 3
merits for my assignments.

• Well developed IT skills include: designing and creating websites, data organisation
including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Good practical skills and enjoy fixing things.
INTERESTS
I like to follow current fashion, and take pride in the way I present myself.Some of my other
interests include; staying active with sports activities, computer games, reading, cooking, and
travelling. I also enjoy and take responsibility for looking after my pets.
