Within the association's tutoring program, Mr. Lersch worked as a tutor in the subject www.scope-maastricht.nl
of "Quantitative Methods II" during the academic year 2015-2016. The course is the www.scope-academy.nl
first introduction to methodological topics that are quantitative in nature, as being
mathematics, statistics and computer science.
Mr. Lersch was giving Exam Trainings to first year students of the SBE. The aim was
to explain the subject to students in further depth and to help them successfully
master their academic challenges. As such, Mr. Lersch's work contributed to positive
results for the students in the mentioned course. Her work required extensive
knowledge ofthe subject as well as good communication and teaching skills.
After an initial instruciton Mr. Lersch was responsible for preparing and giving
trainings on his own. Giving Exam Trainings in an extensive way to groups of students
of up to twelve people required a lot of effort and hard work from his side. Despite the
difficulty of his task, his good quality of work enabled him to carry out the work to the
association and the students'complete satisfaction. He was evaluated by the students
and received remarkable scores in all categories.
