meeting through the needs of working in a fully Residential School. I am also an IB Examiner for

MathematicsHL/SL underfull copyrightclaimsanduse themeffectivelyforstudentengagementandflip
teachingmethodologyinthe regular classteachings. My workbooksalsoinclude the special featureslike
connecting each content of the topic with ToK, collaboration, real-life applications, historical facts and
more importantly reflecting on the Global Citizenship skills, thus fullyjustifyingthe holistic needsof the
present education system. The books also develop the students' skills on basic problem solving. I have
also been the Proof Reader for various PYP Math books published by Edify Group of Schools. Further,I
have created various Math video contents for CBSE and State Board Curricula ranging from Grade-8 to
Grade-12 which can be found in the you tube links as attached in my CV. With utmost interest for new
challenges, I have also attended the TOK Category-3 Inhouse Workshop in the month of July, 2016 to
enhance my TOK skills unto a higher level. With nine years of experience as an IBDP Mathematics
Facilitator along with being a TOK Coordinator and also as a core team member of IBDP Authorization
process along with the journey worth teaching all three levels viz. the HL, SL & Studies-SL. I am also

collaborationinmyteaching-learningprocess. Further,withgreaternecessityintermsof beingaboarding

and Introduction to Boarding Schools through EDUCARE.
I am a marathonrunner and a regularvisitorof gym and personally,asI have passionfor healthand
fitness, if given an opportunity I would also like to be part of your fitness training program.
2. MY EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Today’sglobe haswitnessedthe essentialitytoteach students on global citizenship skills. The need for
teaching and consistent learning for oneself has become one of the key factor of teaching
challengesintoday’sworldandhence ateacherbeingaconsistentlearner.The pedagogyin the present
competitiveglobe alsodemandsforvariousteachingstrategieslike teachingthuslearningondailybasis,
effective student engagement, teaching through differentiated instructions, teaching through the
‘reverse process’ for deeper understanding of topics, inclusion of the innovative teaching methods
through various mathematical software & simulations. The efforts would continue further for the
upliftingof educationsystem meeting through all the key factors in my pedagogy as demanded for the
IBDP viz. the learner profiles, international-mindedness, TOK, historical facts, social ethics,
Trans-disciplinary teaching & real-life applications of the subject. The students’ tasks involving data
collection, mathematical modelling, mathematical investigation & real-life
applications of mathematics have been some of the successful opportunities within the IBDP
Curriculumforexperiential learningaswell asenhancingthe global-citizenship skills in terms of various
activities which are done outside of the four-walled class-rooms. In an added advantage, the new
forthcoming syllabus for Mathematics-Group-5 has already given us brief indications on the
mathematics being effectively connected with real-life applications. Thus, being proud of being a
mathematicsfacilitator,Ipledge mycontributiontobringin more global-minded citizens for a safe and
future globe andtake my responsibilitiesforbuildingthe students’knowledge skillsinfourstrong pillars
of education,viz.the conceptuallearning,differentiatedlearning,servicelearningandlife-long learning
